Dvou-denní mezinárodní výstava v Rakouském Welsu byla zakončením letošní velmi úspěšné výstavní sezóny naší chovatelské stanice.
Bohužel výběrem rozhodčích nebyla příliš šťastnou volbou....
V sobotu posuzovala česká rozhodčí paní Božena Ovesná. Při jejím posuzování jsme měli možnost na vlastní kůži poznat markantní rozdíl v přístupu k našim psům jaký měl například belgický rozhodčí Jean-Francois Vanaken z Klubové výstavy Shih-tzu z minulého týdne !
Na její necitlivé zacházení nejvíce doplatila naše nejmladší - benjamínek Fergie z Targenu, pro kterou to byla první velká výstava v hale.Výstavní atmosféře se teprve učí, musela zvládnout dalekou cestu, noc v cizím prostředí na hotelu....10-měsíční štěně , které teprve získává výstavní zkušenosti, zažilo hrubé a necitlivé posouzení na stole spojené s bolestivým "uchopením" za chlupy ...
Je neuvěřitelné, že takový člověk posuzuje na mezinárodní úrovni ! My "vystavovatelé" se nemáme možnost proti takovému přístupu vůči našim psům nějak bránit a ještě si za takovou "hrubost" zaplatíme nemalé peníze !
Nicméně sobotní výstava pro nás byla zkušeností, že na některé rozhodčí je lepší v zájmu našich pejsků raději nejezdit ...

V neděli posuzovala rakouská rozhodčí paní Garhöfer Carole, byť měla zcela odlišný vkus , než jsme zvyklí, její přístup ke psům byl milý a citlivý. S mladými zvířaty se na stole mazlila , přistupovala k nim s citem, vědoma si , že pracuje se začínajícími juniory.
Velké štěstí pro naši Fergie, která tak zapomněla na sobotní nepříjemný zážitek a při posouzení na stole to bylo opět bezstarostné štěně vesele mávající ocáskem....

Our breeding kennel z Targenu has finished its very successful exhibition season by participating at two-day International exhibition in Austrian Wels. Unfortunately this last-year exhibition's coordinators weren't very lucky with selecting judges for this event... On Saturday a Czech judge Ms. Bozena Ovesna has been judging. For us it was a tremendously different experience! We could experience a judging style of for example a Belgian judge Mr. Jean-Francois Vanaken judging the previous week in a Club Exhibition of Shih-tzu and compare it with Ms. Ovesna's approach. A rude and insensitive approach of Ms. Ovesna was very negative to our youngest pet - Fergie z Targenu and we believe this wasn't a negative experience only for her, for her this was the very first and great exhibition in an enclosed ring. Fergie is a 10-month old pup, who had to undergo a long trip, a night in a foreign environment - hotel, and who is at the very beginning of her exhibition carrier, learning the exhibition routines, environment, and "smell and sense" of the exhibition. This pup experienced a cruel judging of Ms. Ovesna accompanied with a painful push of dogs hair when the dog even cried! It is unbelievable what unprofessional and rude people are selected as judges in International exhibitions! What is even worse that participants of such exhibitions have no chance to protest against judges who literally torture the dogs during judging and what's worst is that we even have to pay for participating in such exhibitions with rude and unprofessional judges! There is however, one significant lesson we learned at this exhibition - we will be very selective ourselves to see who will be a judge on the next exhibition and we definitely skip all future exhibitions with judges similar to Ms. Ovesna. We again could see a huge difference on Sunday's session of the exhibition when an Austrian judge Ms Garhoefer Carole has been judging. Although she had a different style and requirements than what we are used to, her approach was very nice, she was very playful with dogs, petting them while reviewing them knowing that she was working with beginners who needed a gentle approach. A great luck for our Fergie, who thanks to Ms.Garhoefer once again could forget the rude experience of Ms. Ovesna and once again she was the happy pup on the table, as we know her - wagging her tail with sparks in her eyes.
